[DECEMBER UPDATE] Mental Omega 3.3 Release, New Album "Mindshell', Electronic Music by Jabun, Holiday Wishes

I've already told you about the amazing developers behind one of the most popular and beloved Command and Conquer modifications Mental Omega. On the 16th of December, Mentalmeisters released a new update 3.3 which brings an entirely new faction, new maps and missions to the table. If you're an owner of the original copy of the game with 1.001 patch, you can download the game and try it out.

The time has come once again, the new version of Mental Omega is finally here. Furthering the Red Alert 2 legacy, Mental Omega builds on what was established by Westwood Studios and expands upon the conflict between the Allies, Soviets, and Yuri's Epsilon, while introducing a completely new faction to the play - the Foehn Revolt - complete with its own 3 subfaction, structures, units, support powers and heroes.
Enhanced with the powerful Ares DLL, a project headed by AlexB to push Yuri's Revenge engine to its limits, Mental Omega 3.3 strives to bring new features to the game while maintaining a strong sense of gameplay balance. Mental Omega 3.3 continues where the first Red Alert left off and branches out into an expanded universe with brand new missions for all factions, with missions for the Foehn Revolt planned for the future.
Mental Omega 3.3 requires files from a working installation of Red Alert 2 & Yuri's Revenge patched to 1.001 to be played. Follow the instructions presented here to get the mod to work properly with your game. - Speeder
This was the event many players eagerly expected and the result didn't dissappoint. To celebrate the release, I published the soundtrack on Bandcamp and so far the reception has been beyond positive. All those kind words that the players said on YouTube and in the game discussion threads are very encouraging and I'm really thankful to everyone who supports World Beyond - I did not expect such a warm welcome. I should also thank Speeder for giving me a reason to come up with this massive album release and an opportunity to give my voice to Irritator and Ramwagon units, it was a lot of fun and something I genuinely enjoyed doing.
Nicholas Standing, who also plays the guitar on the track "The Rescue", kindly mentioned the new album in his recent blog post. Do check it out, as Nick not only gives a short review of "Mindshell" but also shares a teaser of his new electronic album coming 2017. It's unlike anything you've heard!
Finally, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I want every single one of you to be even if a little happier next year and accomplish something you could be proud of. And if our music aids you in this, this will be the best reward I can think of.
